Do I have to register for class or can I just show up?

There is no reservation required for open class times. You can just show up and sign in at the front desk. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first class so you have time to sign the waiver and get your hands wrapped (we can help).

What should I bring for class?

We recommend you bring a towel and water for class. If you have boxing gloves and wraps, you should bring those as well. If you don’t have your own, we have some available to borrow and we sell wraps for $10. We can also order gloves.
We are only set up to take cash or checks as payment, so you will need to bring that as well.

Where can I leave my personal items?

We ask that you leave your personal items (keys, purses, etc.) in the lobby. We have cubbies and key rings available and the lobby is monitored by security cameras 24/7.

I have an injury; are there modifications available?

Please do not hesitate to ask one of our trainers about any concerns you have or if you are looking for modifications due to an injury or a special need. Although our classes are written in a specific way, we encourage you to make any modifications necessary to ensure the workout fits your needs.

I’m nervous about coming to my first class because I’m not sure what to expect.

Everyone is nervous about their first class! Some gyms can be very intimidating or overwhelming, but we work hard to make sure you feel comfortable and welcome. When you first arrive you will complete a waiver and sign in for class. Once you get your hands wrapped (we can help) you can go into the gym and start to warm up for class. We are a close knit gym and love to have new people in class so just grab any spot you like. There are no assigned bags and we are all happy to share.
Classes start with a light 10 minute warm up and some stretching. Once we get into the heart of the class you can expect it to be fast paced, but our workouts are designed to fit all levels and we encourage new clients to go at their own pace until they get more comfortable with the types of exercises we perform.
Our trainers pay close attention to new clients to make sure your form is on target and that you understand how class works. We want all of our clients to feel welcome and leave class feeling successful. We understand that your first class can be a little scary so it is our goal to reduce that anxiety as much as possible. Everyone had a first day!
